App Features:
Member & Chore Library Management: Add, edit or delete household members, toggle participant status to skip certain people for individual rounds. Create your custom chore list, mark items pending or completed for later filtering.
Two Assignment Modes: Use Random Mode for quick casual distribution. Fair Round‑Robin mode balances task counts across all members to prevent unfair workload over time. Completed chores are automatically excluded from new assignments.
Task Check‑In Workflow: Mark assigned chores as completed or revert status. Once marked finished, chores will not appear in future draws until you manually reset their status.
Local Assignment History: Every allocation is saved locally on‑device. Browse past assignment sessions, view task status, delete single entries or clear all history records when needed.
Privacy‑First Offline Design: Fairlot works entirely offline without internet access. No backend server, no user accounts, no analytics, no data sent outside your iPhone. All member lists, chores and history remain private on your device.

System Requirements:
Platform: Requires iOS 16.0 or newer for iPhone.
Performance: Keep your iOS system updated to the latest official release for best stability. Internet connection is not required, Fairlot works fully offline. No account or login is necessary to use all features.
Frequently Asked Questions:
The app crashes or freezes when I assign chores:
Force‑quit Fairlot and reopen it.
Close unused background apps to free device memory.
Restart your iPhone to clear temporary system cache.
Make sure you are running the most recent Fairlot version downloaded from App Store.
If problems continue, reinstall the app. Warning: Reinstallation will erase all local member, chore and history data; please manually note important data before reinstalling.
My member list / chore items / history records disappeared:
Fairlot stores all data locally on‑device. Data may be cleared if the app is offloaded, uninstalled, or when system storage cleanup removes app data.
There is no cloud backup feature. Manually write down your member names and chore lists for safe‑keeping.
Avoid enabling “Offload Unused Apps” if you wish to preserve your Fairlot local data.
Completed chores still show up in assignment results:
Verify you have correctly marked chores as completed inside chore library page.
Completed chores are filtered only for new assignment rounds. Existing past assignments will keep original status in history records.
Try exiting and re‑entering the assign page to refresh filter logic.
Round‑robin mode does not feel balanced:
Fair round‑robin calculates workload based on completed‑task count from local history. Old deleted‑history entries will no longer affect future weighting.
For best fairness, keep assignment history intact instead of frequent full‑history deletion.
I cannot mark tasks as checked‑in:
Confirm you are operating on an active current assignment result. Check‑in only applies for tasks from recent allocation.
Restart the app if UI state becomes out‑of‑sync.
Can I recover deleted history or deleted chore entries?
No. Fairlot has no cloud backup. Once you delete members, chores or history records inside the app, this local data cannot be recovered. Please keep manual notes for important information.
