System Requirements

Platform: Available exclusively on iOS (iPhone / iPad).
Network Environment: Full offline support. All core color picking, conversion, contrast testing and export features work without an internet connection. No user data, image content or color records are ever uploaded or synced to the cloud.
Permissions: Only photo library and camera access for image importing and color sampling. No location, microphone, notification or other sensitive permissions are required.
Performance: For the best color analysis and export experience, please keep your device’s operating system updated to the latest official iOS version.
Storage: Ensure your device has sufficient available storage to save local color history, cached images and exported palette files.

Frequently Asked Questions

The app crashes or freezes during use Close background apps to free up device memory and processing power. Ensure your device has enough available storage space. Restart your device to clear temporary cache files. If the issue persists, try reinstalling the app to restore normal operation.
Cannot load photos or use camera for color picking Confirm that you have granted photo library and camera permission to ColorVault in your device Settings. High-resolution oversized images may cause slow analysis; try compressing the image or using another picture to retry.
Color extraction result is inaccurate Ensure the image is fully loaded before sampling. Avoid blurry or excessively compressed images which may affect dominant color analysis accuracy. Re-import the image or re-sample the target pixel to obtain standard color values.
Failed to export PNG or ASE palette files Check whether your device has available storage space and photo save permission. Do not interrupt the export process. Re-export after restarting the app if the export task fails abnormally.
Will updating the app delete my local color data? Normal app updates will not delete your local color history and saved palettes. To avoid accidental data loss in rare cases, you are recommended to back up important color schemes manually before major version updates.
Dark mode display is abnormal Dark mode only changes the visual UI theme and does not affect any locally stored color data. Toggle your system dark mode setting again or restart the app to fix visual display glitches.
